Nearly Collapsed Guard Tower on the Great Wall

	Nearly collapsed watch tower on the Gubeikou to Jinshanling section of the Great Wall of China. Gubeikou has always been an area of strategic importance and the Chinese started building fortifications here in 2500 years ago with the earliest sections of the great appearing around 555 CE. In 1378 during the Ming dynasty, General Xu Da ordered Gubeikou section of the Great rebuilt and strengthened which is what we see today.
