Scott Mauvais is a former Microsoft executive specializing in AI governance, tech-driven social impact, and cross-sector innovation. Over a 23-year career at Microsoft, he held senior leadership roles spanning enterprise consulting, corporate innovation, civic engagement, and philanthropy.
As Senior Director of AI and Global Partnerships for Microsoft Philanthropies, he led the philanthropic portfolio for Microsoft's flagship AI for Good initiatives, structuring and deploying $125 million in joint investments with Fortune 500 companies, governments, and global institutions.
He previously led Microsoft Cities and the Microsoft Technology Center.
He serves on national nonprofit boards, advises startups and growth-stage companies, and co-owns The WELL.
