I only got to see Dick Dale once; it was up a Crystal Bay Casino in Tahoe in 2012. It was a seated show so got their early so I could sit in the front row and absorb the full spectacle. Besides his signature wet sound, he put on a great show. Oh, and it was really, really loud even with earplugs in. One of the loudest shows I’ve been to.
